"IDIOT-CI, IDIOT-LÀ"
OLIVIER MAURIN, RÉMI RAUZIER
ET FRANÇOIS SABOURIN
Theatre
27 & 28 March 2010
Al Fresco
This show is merely a compilation of questions! A way of going through all the dimensions of a normal life: From tiny little perceptions to great big existential, political and metaphysical questions.
A list of questions so vast that it does not warrant answers, but serves as a can-opener. This allows us to open up to all the things in our universe, our existence in the world, without the usual compartmentalisation... while facing at the same time our own idiocy.
Background
Olivier Maurin was the director of the company Lhoré-Dana in residence for seven years at the Théâtre de la Renaissance in Oullins, then associate director at the Centre Dramatique National de Poitou Charentes under Claire Lasne and Laurent Darcueil, and in residence at the Théâtre de l’Aire Libre in St Jacques de la Lande. Lately, he has produced Horiza Hirata’s Nouvelles du plateau, with students from the Ensatt school, and David Harrower’s Knives in Hens at the Comédie de Valence.
Rémi Rauzier is an actor and writer. He has worked with Yves Charreton, Philippe Delaigue, Laurent Fréchuret, and Pascale Henry.
