One of the first graduates of the Centre National des Arts du Cirque de Châlons-en-Champagne in 1989, Johann Le Guillerm was awarded the Grand Prix National du Cirque in 1996. This tightrope walker also trained with Enny Clenell from the Diables Blancs, and Czech clown Ctibor Turba. He has worked with Archaos and participated to the creation of La Volière Dromesko, as well as co-founded Cirque O, and finally created Cirque ici in 1994. His first solo show,  “Où ça?”, is still vividly remembered. At the end of 1999, Johann Le Guillerm left for a year and a half to "meet the earth" and confront his opinions to the unstable worlds of disabled people and people with traumas, and tribal lifestyles.
An associate member of Parc de La Villette, he worked on a big, 4-stage project called ATTRACTION, which questioned the balance, forms, points of view, movements and the lack of permanency… The show “Secret” was the first stage of the project.
Johann Le Guillerm was awarded for the project ATTRACTION the first writer’s grant to be given by the circus of the Association Beaumarchais / SACD in 2003 and the grant of Prix Cirque SACD 2005.

 

“LA TRIXELICE” / Experimental Real-Size Project
La TRIXELICE is a wood structure. It includes 66 slanting intertwined 3.5m battens. A rope stops this unlikely structure from collapsing. This structure is surprisingly solid and flexible, and should be about 6 metres high.

L’INFERMABLE is a book that introduces a “passicachée” writing in a tree-shaped, recyclable organic order.
