Performance during the Le MOI de la danse.
Emilie, Sidonie, and Jeremy make up the Collectif ÈS. Three dancers[n1] , as brilliant as they are joyful. They formed a trio 8 years ago at the CNSMD in Lyon and quickly started having fun on stages throughout France. The piece they are premiering here comprises three solos: three close-ups combined into a group portrait. To write their solos, they each went back to the source of their dance: their parents’ records, pop culture or dances on the village square, their first improvisations in their bathrooms, or imitations of stars. These topics and personal items paint a jigsaw-like portrait of Collectif ÈS: beautiful dancers, and clever.
