Bertrand Davy is a dancer, a choreographer and a teacher. He started learning tap-dancing and jazz dance when he was 9 years old, with teachers such as Sylvie Kay. In 1989, he met Mathilde Monnier, who now calls him a very talented dancer with great knowledge of the arts and the stage, as well as a vast experience of the creative processes.
While continuing to train in tap-dancing and contemporary dance, Bertrand Davy worked with the choreographer from Montpellier and performed "A la renverse" (1989), "Lieux de la" (1998), "Pour Antigone" (2000), "Déroutes" (2002), "Signes" (2000), "Rose” (2001), and "Sursauts" (2004). More recently, they have worked together on the topic of the Diaspora, for a performance at the Musée Branly in Paris (2007). Let us not forget his partnerships with Violaine Véricel (creation of the company called “Temps battant” in 1993) or with Jean Lacornerie. As a teacher, he has run several courses with children or young dancers in France and abroad.
