A catwalk draws the space. Julian Vogel enters the stage and parades dressed in an armor made of hundreds of ceramic scales, both rigid in their material and supple in their movements. We witness a ceramic knife-throwing act where each impact gives the performance its pulse. To the rhythm of a fashion show unlike any other, Julian unfolds a choreography of objects where precision dialogues with risk, where matter is put to the test between strength and fragility. After CHINA SERIES and CERAMIC CIRCUS, Julian Vogel invites us with Hits and Kicks to continue exploring all the poetic potentialities of the encounter between circus and ceramic.
