Biographie
Daniel Kvašňovský, originaire de Slovaquie, commence sa formation au Conservatoire de Théâtre à l’âge de 15 ans. Il poursuit ensuite ses études en théâtre physique à l’Académie Janáček, en République Tchèque, où il crée en 2019 son premier spectacle, Nivó. Il rejoint par la suite l’école de cirque Flic à Turin, puis intègre l’Académie Fratellini en France. Il y développe la pratique de la corde lisse, du hula hoop et de la corde volante, tout en menant, pendant son temps libre, un travail de création de costumes.
Daniel Kvašňovský, originally from Slovakia, began his training at the Theatre Conservatory at the age of 15. He then continued his studies in physical theatre at the Janáček Academy in the Czech Republic, where he created his first show, Nivó, in 2019. Afterwards, he joined the Flic Circus School in Turin, then the Fratellini Academy in France. There, he developed his skills in aerial rope, hula hoop, and flying rope, while also pursuing costume design work during his free time.

Les choix tremblants / cirkus nevkus est un spectacle solo mêlant théâtre, corde lisse et hula hoop. L’image d’un clown non clownesque utilisant les codes et l’esthétique d’un art du cirque “non actuel” avec un intérêt à retrouver une timidité excentrique ou une excentricité timide presque intimidante à regarder. Une figure oscillant entre le minimalisme corporel dans sa forme absurde et les grands gestes des spectacles pailletés qui nous emmènent au cirque.
Une quête de la perfection tantôt comique, tantôt tragique, quelque part entre la piste de cirque et la bergerie du solstice d’hiver.
Les choix tremblants / cirkus nevkus is a solo show combining theater, aerial rope, and hula hoop. It presents the image of a clown who is not quite a clown, using the codes and aesthetics of a “non-current” circus art with an interest in rediscovering an eccentric shyness or a shy eccentricity that is almost intimidating to watch. A figure oscillating between bodily minimalism in its absurd form and the grand gestures of glittering shows that take us to the circus.
It is a quest for perfection, sometimes comic, sometimes tragic, somewhere between the circus ring and the winter solstice sheepfold.
