Power trio fantasque à la truffe taquine, assis//MÉTRIQUE cultive l’art de l’aléa (ou du péril). Au croisement des genres de tout genre, les trois acolytes improvisent un univers sonore résolument libre, cheminant entre rock charivarique, synthèse sonore et musique d’objets.
Leur premier disque éponyme, édité par le Petit Label, sort en 2025.
Whimsical power trio with a teasing snout, assis//MÉTRIQUE cultivates the art of chance (or of peril). At the crossroads of genres of every gender, the three accomplices improvise a resolutely free sound universe, wandering between charivari rock, sound synthesis and object music.
Their first self-titled album, released by Petit Label, came out in 2025.
Avec cette nouvelle création sonore immersive et participative, assis//MÉTRIQUE invite le public à plonger au cœur du processus de composition. Libres de déambuler entre les installations sonores, les spectateur·rices sont également invité·es à s’emparer d’instruments à percussion et autres objets du quotidien détournés pour improviser aux côtés des trois performeur·euses. Chaque représentation se réinvente ainsi au fil des interactions et des échanges, donnant naissance à une expérience collective vivante, en perpétuelle transformation.
With this new immersive and participatory sound creation, assis//MÉTRIQUE invites the audience to plunge into the heart of the composition process. Free to wander between the sound installations, the spectators are also invited to take hold of percussion instruments and other repurposed everyday objects in order to improvise alongside the three performers. Each performance is thus reinvented through interactions and exchanges, giving birth to a living collective experience, in perpetual transformation.
