Biographie
Anna Tierney (1999) est danseuse, performeuse et chorégraphe. Après une enfance dans les Hautes Pyrénées où elle découvre la danse et le théâtre, elle se forme au Conservatoire Royal d’Anvers (BE) dont elle sort diplômée en 2022. Depuis, en tant qu’interprète, elle collabore régulièrement avec Florentina Holzinger, Leïla Ka ou encore Justine Berthillot. Elle travaille actuellement sur sa première pièce, Grand Repos, dont la première est prévue en novembre 2027.
Anna Tierney (1999) is a dancer, performer and choreographer. She grew up in the South of France where she discovered dance and theater. She then moved to Belgium to study contemporary dance at the Royal Conservatorium of Antwerp and graduated in 2022. Since then, as a performer, she regularly collaborates with Florentina Holzinger, Leïla Ka and Justine Berthillot, amongst others. She is currently creating her first solo, Grand Repos, which will premiere in November 2027.
Grand Repos explore, à travers un solo au récit fragmenté, les mécanismes de l’obsession et du contrôle du corps à l’adolescence. Entre conte contemporain et quête initiatique, le projet questionne les représentations de la jeune fille et les récits qui façonnent nos identités.
Grand Repos explores, through a solo with a fragmented narrative, the mechanisms of obsession and control of the body in adolescence. Between contemporary tale and initiatory quest, the project questions the representations of the young girl and the stories that shape our identities.
