What remains of the physical, visceral fear of children caught up in war?

Djodjo, Yaoundé and Serge were barely 10 in 1990. One lived his childhood, the others were forced to become soldiers by General Kabila. With puppets, songs and dance, together they give voice to a nightmare of a childhood. With strength and sensitivity, they invent words and gestures, repainting their shared past with modesty to attempt a future in the Congo today.
