Thomas Hauert & La Bolsa

La Mesure du désordre

Dance

Organized as part of the 18th Biennial of Dance

Thomas Hauert has been choreographing for 20 years. Presented the world over, his work starts with research on movement, and places special emphasis on writing based on improvisation and exploring the tension between freedom and constraint, the individual and the group, order and disorder, form and unformed. For this piece, the dancers of the La Bolsa collective (Barcelona) reinterpret Hauert’s choreographic language through the lens of their own experience. A dance performance constructed like a conversation among many participants.
