The Femmes de Crobatie are twelve women, standing forwards and backwards, who appear and disappear by surprise all over the site of Les Subsistances during Chill’n’child day. Their bodies multiply in the space, play with the buildings’ architecture, rebound off the walls, become transformed as they move, and contort in the interstices. With an approach to movement that blends dance and acrobatics, exploring the space as they walk in unison or in contradiction, this all-woman team is delivering the results of its research for the first time. A site for outdoor creations, Les SUBS likes nothing better than to host artists who make use of the whole place.
Les Femmes de Crobatie, is a collective led by Fanny Austry, Dorothée Dall’Agnola, Julie Tavert and Anna Von Grunigen
Research programm in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, coordinated by les SUBS with La Cascade in Bourg-Saint-Andéol, CCN2 in Grenoble, Boom’Structur in Clermont-Ferrand and the utoPistes festival.
Carried by the Mpta compagny, the utoPistes circus festival supports this step of creation.
