How can you explain a world that you feel is physically disappearing? This Clement World is a show composed of a documentary film with live music infused with strange fictions and folk songs. Cynthia Hopkins, an American artist, joined the scientific expedition Cape Farewell in the Arctic Ocean. On this boat, which went to assess the effects of climate change on the poles, she created the characters and wrote the songs and dialogue. A performer, country singer, and videast, she delivers, in an infinitely personal way, a warning on impending disappearance and a few notes on our dependence on modernity.
