Piece for 3 dancers + 1 bagpipe (Jean Blanchard)
Tânia Carvalho treats bodies like sensitive surfaces. They are transformed, marked by movements, imprinted with gestures. LAD, the piece for bagpipe she has chosen to choreograph, was written in one breath, like a single sound transformed into suite.

Tânia Carvalho : Choreographer and cofounder of the Bomba Suicida collective, she works most frequently on the relationships between dance, the visual arts, and music. She created earlier pieces in France and numerous European countries.
Jean Blanchard was introduced at an early age to the traditional dances of the Berry region, the oral tradition, and ethnographical research, in groups at the folklore museum (Arts et Traditions Populaires). He learned to play the accordion, traditional violin, and bagpipes. He has shared many artistic adventures with dance and theater. He also teaches. Web site
