Miss Dolly is a 35-minute stage form based on the aerial cradle and the Korean cradle. It plays outside.
On stage: 4 characters, Dolly, John, the girl, and Jimmy. A few snippets of chewed-up English from a western à la Tennessee Williams and even a piece played by hunting horns.
With them, some apples, wit, acrobatics,
A stale love story,
A lost horse…
Dolly waits up in the cradle.
John: Do you still love me?
Jimmy finds a gun, doesn’t understand.
The girl: I lost my horse.
She takes Dolly’s hands and jumps.
Too full of emptiness
Just a creaking
A feeling, not much
On the horizon,
Nonchalant bodies contemplating the deserted
Infinite emptiness suspended from the void
Bodies take flight almost in spite of themselves
An absurd impulse
Indifference to death,
Voltigeuse : Marine Fourteau
Voltigeuse et régie son : Liza Lapert
Porteuse au cadre aérien : Garance Hubert-Samson
Porteur au portique coréen : Marcel Vidal Castells
