La poème

Jeanne Mordoj / Cie Bal (FR)

Saturday, November 24th and Sunday, November 25th, 2012

“Celebrate the living, the feminine, the womb, and the voice, with joy, strangeness, great femininity, and bestiality.” Jeanne Mordoz is an obstinate feminist. Not a fury in battle but rather an unshakeable mutineer who lives on the edge, working for years on bearded women, waxing ecstatic over organic waste she’s salvaged, or collecting old rag dolls. We’ve known her as a ventriloquist, juggler and contortionist, and we also know she’s staunchly witch rather than fairy.
