Contemporary Circus Network

Circus Day (Journée professionnelle Arts du cirque)
How can we support circus artists on a regional scale?
12 May 2007 at Les Subsistances

A day dedicated to circus in the Rhône-Alpes region took place at Les Subsistances on Saturday 12 May, as part of the “Coups de Lune” Festival. Around fifty professionals in the cultural field were involved, and worked on the themes of the various venues dedicated to circus and training.
The Day was a chance to bring together and for the first time in the region the cultural stakeholders, politicians and technicians in charge of cultural events in and out of the Rhône-Alpes region. Through a quick recapitulative of the existing networks, the objective of the Day was to strengthen the network of stakeholders and to impart a dynamic to this artistic field.
