MONDAY_THEATRE
ADVANCED LEVEL

Theatre is an expression of an identity, our identities: it is the aim developed by Gilles Pastor as an actor and director. Pastor is an artist in residence at Les Subsistances who offers a chance to develop the technical side of theatre but also gives participants the opportunity to discover possibilities to explore personal areas with a certain distance through improvisation and texts.

TUESDAY_ACROBATICS

The workshop will deal with learning floor techniques linked to stunt situations. This is a collective workshop but each trainee will be looked after individually according to his/her progress, expectations and personal project.

ALL LEVELS, SUITABLE FOR OVER 15s

. Supervised by Ali Bendahman, an artist and teacher at the École de cirque in Lyon.

WEDNESDAY_CONTEMPORARY DANCE

This dance workshop relies on everyday activities and situations, the concepts of moving on and around, the dance/music relationship, etc. Everyone will find their place according to their level.

ALL LEVELS

. Supervised by Bertrand Davy, a choreographer and teacher, or Juliette Beauviche, professor at the CNSMD in Lyon
. 7-9:30pm / 29 sessions
. 2 free sessions on Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 September 2007  7pm-9:30pm

THURSDAY_HAND BALANCING

These courses will allow participants to gain basic knowledge and to work further on the various techniques of still balancing, by developing in their own time physical qualities required to do the movements on the ground or on specific apparatuses.

ALL LEVELS, SUITABLE FOR OVER 15s

. Supervised by Pascal Nolin, a teacher at the École de cirque in Lyon

Theatre and Dance: €400 (incl. insurance)
Circus (acrobatics and balancing): €300  
+ Compulsory licence from the Fédération Française des Ecoles de cirque €10  
+ Doctor’s Certificate (less than 2-month old)
