First production / Dance - Music
In addition to being an exceptional dancer, Jeremy Wade is first and foremost a phenomenal ball of energy. We remember his production entitled Feed* at Les Subsistances where everything in him was tension (his body, his voice, his emotions). For the Ça Tchatche! WeekEnd, the American choreographer and musician who lives in Berlin seeks to reroute the nervous system by exhausting the language of the body. Embedding it in a passion that obliterates social, emotional and physical habit through laughter, disgust and pain.
*A performance-concert with electro-rock band Aldoux, presented at the Ça Monstre! WeekEnd in April 2007.

"Jeremy Wade’s new piece is a trio for two dancers and one musician, setting them on a journey towards ecstasy and otherness. Through a manifold of scores each performer is engaged in taking themselves apart and working towards the greater hallucination of space. The transgression of all and every possibility discloses the ground for the ecstatic experience. We seek to reroute the nervous system by exhausting the language of the body. Embedding it in a passion that obliterates social, emotional and physical habit through laughter, disgust and pain. At the end of the road blazes a different language that is generating and destroying itself constantly in every utterance: Reaching a higher level and installing a presence that lies beyond the communicable."
